Das interdisziplinäre Symposium beschäftigt sich mit der kulturellen Vielfalt Lateinamerikas mit Blick auf Graphic Novels, literarische Texte, Filme, Tanz und Video Blogs sowie andere Medien. Die künstlerische Relevanz von Emotionen bei vergangenen und gegenwärtigen sozialpolitischen Transformationsprozessen stehen im Fokus.
Es wird unter anderem eine Ausstellungseröffnung geben zu "BorderLines – Emotions | LatinX-Comics | Aldama" (Kurator*innen: Bettina Egger, Agustín Corti) sowie eine deutsch-spanische Lesung von Karla Suárez (Cuba) zu “El hijo del héroe” (2017).

This interdisciplinary symposium will explore the current cultural diversity of Latin America through graphic novels, literary texts, films, dance and video blogs, among other media. The focus will be on the artistic relevance of emotions in socio-political transformations in the recent past and present.
During the Symposium there will be an exebition about "BorderLines – Emotions | LatinX-Comics | Aldama" (Curators: Bettina Egger, Agustín Corti) and a reading with Karla Suárez (Cuba) about her novel “El hijo del héroe” (2017) in Spanish and German.
